Motion workshop with Agata Siniarska (PL)


The workshop participants will explore and learn about the importance of movement in a tangled contemporary world full of toxins, radiation and injustice through the lens of choreography. Through dance they will seek ecological awareness and question how dance can contribute to the ecology debate. 

Previous dance experience is not necessary.

A performance inspired by the life of Polish Jewish, dancer and choreographer Poly Nireńska. The events that take place during her life are confronted by the creators of the present - by destroying the environment, we are causing an ecological disaster and our own destruction. Performance takes the form of a garden installation and will take place in the park near Station.

The stolen state began as a look back at the actors of Zuzana Piusi's film ‘From Fico to Fico’. Shortly after shooting had begun, Jan Kuciak and Martina Kušnírová were assassinated and the shooting took a different direction.
