Small book market

After a long time, the Small Book Market returns to Stanica. And what month could be better than March - the month of the book! It was declared as such in 1955 in former Czechoslovakia in honor of Matej Hrebenda Hačavský. The aim was to encourage interest in books. Your interest in books is clear to us, so we would like to encourage the circulation, sale or exchange of used books. Whether as a visitor, seller or donor, we invite you. Old and new books, magazines, records, and things related to it can be “marketed”. We also welcome children's sellers. Contact: malytrh@stanica.sk.

A landscape of wild fjords, huge glaciers, tall volcanoes, pioneering villages, beautiful azure mountain lakes, almost untouched by tourism. But also famous areas of Argentine Patagonia such as the breathtaking mountain peak ‘Fitz Roy’ in the National Park Los Glaciares or Perito Moreno glacier with an area of 250 square kilometers and a height of 20 storey buildings. ‘Loafers’ (dir. Ladj Ly)

Stéphane recently joined a special criminal unit in Montfermeil, a suburb of Paris. Together with his colleagues Chris and Gwad, both experienced team members, he quickly registers increasing tensions among neighboring gangs. When they find themselves escaping during their arrests, the drone captures their every move, every action… Inspired by the revolts of 2005, director Ladj Ly set the current Montfermeil, the same place where the famous Victor Hugo Bedsmiths took place in 1862. More than 150 years later, the resemblance between today's angry youth in sweatshirts and Gavroch, the main character of Bedar, is very distinctive.
