workshop

DAMU: Dialogic dealing with an inner partner

What is it like to stand on stage (or in life), have nothing in your hands and leave everything to spontaneous, yet cultivated happenings? It is not about god-awful improvisation, when a person spits out one idea after another, but about basic orientation and concentrated action in this dynamic situation, when you are on your own and with yourself in front of others. Dialogic negotiation is the main psychosomatic discipline of the Department of Creative Creation and Pedagogy of DAMU (Prague), which was invented by prof. Ivan Vyskočil. The workshop is intended not only for theatre people, but for anyone who works in public (with the public) or for those who are interested in action-based self-knowledge or fitness for dialogue.
